What does “bring your own key” mean?
AI features run on your own OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google API key. You pay the provider directly at cost, your data stays private, and you can leave AI switched off.
Can we keep using QGIS, ArcGIS, and Excel?
Yes. Kubikel is built to interoperate: import and export common GIS and spreadsheet formats, and serve datasets to QGIS two-way over OGC API.
Is Kubikel production-ready?
All six apps are fully built and in active use, and we ship improvements every week. Your data always exports in open formats, so you're never locked in.
Does it work offline in the field?
Field capture and traffic counting are built offline-first: keep collecting with no signal, and everything syncs on its own once you're back on a connection.
What happens after the first year, or if we don't renew?
You renew to keep access and updates. If you don't renew, your workspace stays available to export in open formats for 90 days, then it's deleted — so you're never locked in, and your data isn't held indefinitely either.
